Hardness in here can be said to the ability of the metal that it can resist the deformation and the fracture in surface local volume , it not only has a similar experience relationship with the static strength of material and the fatigue strength,  but also has a certain relationship with cold forming, cutting, welding process and the other performance of technology , therefore ,Hardness value has a certain reference significance in controling the quality of hot and cold processing technology of material.

Static stretching can be used to measure the basic mechanics performance index  through the process of elastic deformation, plastic deformation and fracture ,such as elastic modulus, yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and reduction of area, etc.The performance index is the important basis in the intrinsic basic attributes of the material and  engineering design.

Impact test can get the dynamic performance indexes of impact toughness and impact absorption and other indexes, it is is extremely sensitive to the crucial problem of brittle tendency , the metallurgy quality of materials and the internal defects , it is a convenient way to check the brittle tendency of the material and the metallurgical quality  .
